This is the image of Baccaurea courtallensis fruits (Wight) Müll.Arg.(EIPHORBIACEAE) taken from the 'Edible fruit plants conservatory' of JNTBGRI, Thiruvananthapuram. It is a dioecious evergreen tree, common in the forest of the southern Western Ghats, called 'Moottipazham'. The fruits are edible though it is acidic.
