Grag ji Here is a larger sized picture-800x600-143kb.The original
size is 4.06mb.I can send this to you if you wish..
Details-This is a medium sized shrub-21/2' - 3'.There were 3 or 4
together in mostly rocky area.I noticed it only in one place on our
Bannarghatta Forest trek [involved climbing rocks].Was surprised to
find it growing quite luxuriantly.It had no flowers at all.

A simple field test for Tephrosia suggested by Traditional Healers. Tear the leaf in this manner.

If you find this pattern, it must be Tephrosia. In Hindi Tephrosia is known as Sarphonk. Sar or Shar means Arrow and Punkh means tail of arrow. Many times Punkh is used for leaves also.

It in only plant in this word having leaves that tear in this specific pattern.
