Thanks for sharing the images Sir!

I've seen this plant in Dehra Dun..that too in vegetative stage. :-(

Wondering how much it differs from P. lapathifolia var. lanosa. Yet to see in field.

Best regards,
Ritesh.

I could not find its distribution in India in POWO, Flora of Pakistan, Checklist of Nepal and BSI flora of India.
However, CoL gives it as Victoria (I), Pakistan (Peshawar, Punjab), Egypt (Desert Oases, Nile Delta), Israel (coastal W-Israel, Rift Valley), Benin (I), Bhutan, Sikkim, Philippines (Luzon), Laos.

Hope to capture Inflorescence some day, that would solve the ID. Leaves I thought resemble P. lanigera more.

I just checked eFlora of Pakistan according to which Polygonum lanigerum of FBI is not same as that of R. Br. and is correctly Persicaria lanata. So I take it as P. lanata as suggested by Garg ji. Thanks Garg ji
