Dear all,

Please help me to identify this herb species. I think this belongs to Acanthaceae. I could not observe the flowers.

Plant: 2-3 feet high
Leaf: 8 cm long

Habitat: weed in a garden (also seen near a fallow land)
Place: Puducherry suburbs
Alt.: 15 m asl
Date: 06 April 2014

It may be Barleria nitida.
