In the process of relaxation of the lock down at different Cities/States, the office of the Insurers are started operating in phased manner in different states.

The WHO have already advised the people to fallow precautionary measure and fallow social distancing as well as living with Corona Virus.

Due to this, the Surveyors will be exposed to high risk and our Institute i.e. IIISLA should come forward and provide adequate insurance cover under GPA including accidental loss of life as well as on account of loss of lives due to COVID 19 at a higher sum insured of 50 Lakhs to all valid members.

We hope our genuine demand will be placed before the council members of IIISLA for approval and its immediate implementation.

Now, we also feel it pertinent to bring your kind notice that the Government of India has already provided similar such cover under GPA policy for its 22 lakhs health care providers and this tailor made policy is issued by The N. I. A.Co. Ltd., one of the public sector General Insurance Cos.
