I agree with you that when we have no age for retirement then question should not arise for not accepting your contribution as IIISLA acknowledges you as their member 

The persons who framed this policy have no clue number one & I have also mentioned in the whatsapp that there is no legal standing  also. I request all members to put pressure on IIISLA to revisit the BF scheme & there should be no age limit for joining & no age restriction for not joining especially when one has joined the scheme from mits inception and after reaching the age of 75 yrs say you can not be admitted. Everyone knows that at this age people do get sick & its difficult for them to make ends meet & by getting sick at this age who is there to take care of them & pay their hospital bills as such they will get some relief if they get some amount from this fund if they are members

There was no response of then BF committee on board and then I stopped writing. 

Though, some unbearable comments were  received of some members which silenced my voice of grivence of being still active in profession.

Age is but a number & it is people like you who have contributed much to this profession but on the whole this profession is not supporting us as because some of the elected members think for themselves. We have had members holding two positions one in the sate & one in the CC also they held the profession to ransom now also ordinary members & the newly elected members can do nothing as on date the newly elected council members have not yet been inducted into the council. Can one expect so an act but I say it can happen only in IIISLA and this should speak volumes. If there is a problem to induct these members into the central council then spell it out so we members can understand instead the council called for election to the central council to fill up the seats that got vacated by rule by spending big bucks on hiring a software firm & wasting the members hard earned money as the end results is a big ZERO

If people above 75 are to be included , scheme will not work with present subscription amount. The rule has logic .

Probability of death post 75 is very high .

A person who has attained age of 75 would have earned enough .

Also in that case all members will continue the profession on paper and will never show retirement.

All above 75 should have large heart and should deem their contribution as a small philanthropy , which in normal course we do not .

In my opinion rule is rational .

So let the council come out in the open and say the facts that the BF scheme is one of philanthropic in nature and not what they claim it to be then this topic will close one since for all. And as very senior members have asked for an external audit of the funds collected for the scheme be taken up immediately so that the active members know that their money is used to help like members in their time of need it's just a simple routine work
