Oneplus 2 To Be The First Smartphone To Have a USB-C Port Posted: 22 Jun 2015 11:42 AM PDT A few days ago, OnePlus revealed that it's next smartphone, the OnePlus 2, would have the Snapdragon 810 processor which is the latest being used in the top level android smartphones or say in the latest flagships from various companies. Now the company has revealed that the successor to the OnePlus One will have a USB Type-C port for charging the smartphone. This was announced from @Oneplus's twitter post:  USB Type-C will be supported by Android M for charging smartphones and Google says more phone and Chromebooks will support the all in one connector. It's very possible that the OnePlus 2 CAN be the first smartphone to have the USB - C type connector/charging port, for now as declared from the companies twitter feed.
