Connection refused

I have started idmepiere succesfully on  a server but I keep getting connection refused. I can access other web application on that same port. Is there a jetty log or some such that one can look at? I have checked but can't find any.

Hello.
Wht kind of connection are you talking about?
Cant you see the login panel (main login window) or cant connect on that panel?

For 1st situation:
try " ps -aux | grep piere" and check if you server is ruuning.

If so , check its port with.
netstat -an

For 2nd situation, login with
System
system

I know theres shortwr way...but witg this way, you can see it a lot clear and find lots of possible troubleshhoting.

Thanks Paulo for your reply.  I solved by changing the installation port.
