Hi, good morning/afternoon/night
Recently I'm working in a project who consists to send informations between client (Company X) and server (Company Y) via webservice, both using Idempiere. Both of companies have your own servers, and workstations, they only like to trade a specific data between itself.
The configuration is so simple, your documentation about WS have a lot of information. But, I have a question about the WS working method.
I've read lot of posts, wiki pages (Idempiere and Adempiere), and  lines of code. My question, the Idempiere webservice configuration, is only for server? Only for receive data from the others softwares, or a manually coded function? Or can I configure a Idempiere X send information to Idempiere Y too?

Thanks. :)

Hi Henrique, exactly as you noticed, to receive data is just
configuration, to send data you need to extend with custom code.

Regards,

Carlos Ruiz

Hi Carlos,

How can I configure iDempiere to receive data from DATA-PROVIDER, they offer web services with company data, addresses etc

So when I create a new BusinessPartner in iDempiere, I just select a company (or choose chamber of commerce nr) , and the BusinessPartner will be cerated with the data
availble form the DATA-PROVIDER (by webservices)

With kind regards,
Ismet

About document, please search on wiki by keyword plug-in development.
It will show you how to inject your customize code.
