2.5..3-beta5 no file dialog

I'm running CachyOS which is a variant of Arch and when I attempt to open a file I get no dialog and this error in the log:

 File "<string>", line 4
    print 0;
    ^^^^^^^
SyntaxError: Missing parentheses in call to 'print'. Did you mean print(...)?
  File "<string>", line 3
    print lFiles
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^
SyntaxError: Missing parentheses in call to 'print'. Did you mean print(...)?
