After discussing with multiple overseas artist agents and doing due diligence, Arnab & Mridul proposed Trijoy Dey & Trissha Chatterjee (Agent - Biswa) as the most viable option to be considered by EC for performance on Saturday(10/4) at a negotiated rate of $9K.
EC members did a detailed analysis on the cost for hosting them, confidence level on making at least a break-even point.
Based on available data from Treasurer (Kamal da), ballpark estimate for:
Total collection (assuming 150 adults on both days @ $110) ~ $50K.
Total expense (including $13K for Lagnajita & $10K for Trijoy-Trissha) & main dinner only on Saturday ~ $48K.
So we found good confidence in making a break-even and can potentially make some profit!
Considering all aspects, EC approved Trijoy-Trissha & band to perform for DP on Saturday(10/4).
