Hello All,
Yesterday’s meeting was the last meeting of the year.
To plan for the meetings in 2024, we discussed that the current time of the ICAT Collaboration meeting is inconvenient for our colleagues at SESAME, as being Thursdays at 3 pm UK / 4 pm CET means that it is 6 pm in Jordan, and it is also their last day of the week.
So, we would like to explore if it is possible to move the meeting time, and potentially the meeting day.
For that reason, I created a doodle poll considering the week starting 22nd January 2024, which is when the first ICAT collaboration meeting of 2024 will happen.
Please, also consider if the time will be convenient for a regular meeting too. Hopefully, the time slots in the poll are convenient for everyone, including our Brazilian colleagues too. So, let’s pick the time when most people are available for a regular meeting:

I would be grateful if people can complete the doodle poll by 8th December at the latest. Then, I will send a message about the new agreed day/time and calendar invites.
Many thanks,
Alejandra

Dear All,
This is a gentle reminder about the doodle poll for 2024 meetings (set for the first meeting in January but considering the day of the week and time for the rest of the year):

Thanks for everyone who has completed it – if you haven’t yet, please do fill in your availability by this Friday.
Best wishes,
Alejandra

Dear All
Thanks for completing the doodle poll.
It is looking difficult to choose a date, as we definitely should have a representative from each facility available and at the moment that doesn’t seem possible.
Perhaps people can consider revising their input considering:
I will keep analysing the responses and see if we can find a time suitable for the majority that also includes at least one representative per facility.
Many thanks,
Alejandra

Dear All,
Happy New Year to all!
I am following up from the Doodle poll that we completed at the end of last year to set up a new meeting time – there was a proposal to consider a different meeting time to help all facilities to have a representative at a convenient time, given the different time zones we are in.
There is no time according to the poll when everyone can participate, so analysing the results and considering that we should have, if possible, a representative from each facility, I think the best time is:
Thursdays 13:30 – 14:30 UK time/UTC time; 14:30 – 15:30 CET
This new time could be a trial for the first few months of the year, and it can be re-evaluated later on.
We will be sending a calendar invite to those who were included before – if you are not on the list of invitees for the calendar invite, and would like to be included, let us know.
Kind regards,
Alejandra

Dear Alejadra,
Happy New Year to you and all the Icats out there!
Thank you for the new time, I have no fixed meetings at the same
time so I plan to attend as many as I can.
Andy
