Next ICAT face-to-face meeting

Dear all,

There has been discussion at the recent monthly ICAT collaboration meetings about what to do for the next face to face meeting, as it has been a while since we met in Berlin.

We at STFC have offered to organise the next meeting and have been looking at possible dates. We were hoping to arrange something around November time but after checking availability of the venue for the meeting the next available week is Monday 12th January to Friday 16th January 2026.

Allowing time for people to travel, and allowing a full day and a half day for the meeting, the best days are probably Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday of that week.

The meeting will be at The Cosener's House in Abingdon (https://www.thecosenershouse.co.uk/) where there is also accommodation available.

So can you please let me know:

1. If you hope to attend, or would like to but can't make the suggested dates
2. If you have a preference for Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday, or would prefer other days that week

We have a monthly collaboration meeting on Thursday 25th September where we can discuss this further, but if you can reply to me with answers to the above that would be a great start.

Dear Kevin,

The proposed dates in January work for me, and I don’t have a particular preference between Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday.

Alex and Andy are not sure yet about their availability, but they will respond as soon as they know, probably in the coming days/weeks.
