Invitation: AtoM Contributors Gathering, Monday 23 June 2025

Are you an AtoM contributor or thinking of becoming one?

In the past year, Artefactual has been thinking about the long term sustainability of the communities that have grown around AtoM and Archivematica. We want to reduce the risk of being a single point of failure for cultural memory software and the vibrant communities that surround them. We also want to help support and grow the community through a range of activities. Contributor Gatherings are a place where current and future AtoM contributors can meet to discuss current work and future plans.

We will be holding our next Gathering on Monday, 23 June 2025. You can view the draft schedule below. In this event, we will be holding a discussion on development and deployment environments. We will also be having an update from Artefactual and a guest from the AtoM Foundation Board (tbc) to answer questions. If you are interested in joining the Gathering, please fill out this form by Friday, 13 June and further information will be sent to you.

„this form“ is pointing to  „Request for Invitation: Archivematica Contributors Gathering“ on Tuesday, 24 June 2025.

May I assume that this is the wrong one?

I am only interested in AtoM 😊

Thank you for letting me know, Hans-Arno. Something seemed to be wrong with the short link and it kept pointing to the wrong form.

Well, now it starts with " We will be holding our next AtoM Contributor's Gathering on Thursday, 19 June 2025 ".

Did you change the date?

Thursdays are no good for me :-(

Hi Hans,

You are correct, that is the old date. It was changed to accomodate speakers. I did not originally change the forms after publishing them (but I have now). The most up to date information will be in the draft schedule, so go by that date of Monday, 23 June. I will be updating it with further information and setting the final version the week before.
