Hello, everyone!

Please, I would like to know if it's possible to ident the levels descriptions in the tree-view structure at archival description page.

Regards,

Hi Carolina,

The sidebar treeview does not really have enough space to effectively indent, but version 2.3 includes a new full-width treeview option with indentation. It allows users to drag the bottom border down to view more of the treeview, and navigate with keyboard controls - it also includes some basic icons to help identify levels of description more easily. A couple important differences and notes, however:
  • The full-width treeview does not display identifiers at this time. This may change in a subsequent version - there has been a lot of interest in development to make some of the elements appearing in the treeview more configurable.
  • Drag and drop arrangement in sibling levels is not possible in the full-width treeview at this time, as it is in the sidebar treeview when the sort order is set in Admin > Settings > Global to "Manual." It would be possible to add this functionality but will require development.
  • For very large descriptive hierarchies, the full-width treeview may have some scalability issues in the 2.3 release, as it attempts to load the entire tree into memory at once. We have some scalability enhancements coming in the 2.4 release to address this.
You can read more about both treeview options, and their differences, here: https://www.accesstomemory.org/docs/2.3/user-manual/access-content/context-menu/#treeview
