Examples of DIPs uploaded to AtoM from Archivematica

Hi all, 

I'm curious if anyone who uses Archivematica to upload DIPs to their public-facing AtoM instance would be willing to share links to some descriptions within their instances that include linked DIPs, and willing to specify whether they directly upload the DIPs to AtoM, or do some re-arrangement in Archivematica's appraisal tab beforehand. 

We're evaluating the possibility of doing so with our instance, and I'd like some examples to look at/show to project stakeholders.

I hope that other community users might reply and share their own examples, but I thought I'd give you a starting example. Simon Fraser University Library hosts an AtoM instance that is shared by SFU Archives and SFU Special Collections and Rare Books. As you can see on the SFU Archives website, they publicly share that they use Archivematica in their digital preservation workflow, and AtoM for access: 
That means that pretty much all of the digital objects on the SFU AtoM site are DIP uploads from Archivematica. Here are two examples - an image and a PDF: 
Remember, certain Archivematica metadata will not display to public users, and for other digital object metadata, you have some control over what public users see via the Visible Elements module: 
Additionally, in the upcoming 2.7 release, we have made some enhancements to clarify what metadata belongs to what object (between the original, the reference display copy, and the thumbnail used in search/browse results), and to offer more control over the display of this metadata. Hello,

All of the items on digitalcollections.ohs.org were added from Archivematica DIP Upload.  We don't use the appraisal tab, as we do our SIP arrangement and description before transfer to Archivematica, and ingest SIPs as unzipped bags.  We've found it to be a pretty consistent workflow over the past 5 years or so its been in place.

All of the digital objects on searcharchives.vancouver.ca were processed in Archivematica and uploaded to AtoM. We use two workflows:

 

1)      The majority of digital objects in our AtoM instance are generated from our digitization workflow. Descriptions are created in AtoM first. Digital objects are then ingested in into AtoM. The SIP includes a csv file that pairs the file names to the AtoM identifiers. This gets included in the DIP. The DIP is then deposited in a network directory that AtoM has access to, and a cron job runs a custom script that periodically invokes the symfony import:dip-object command to upload the objects to AtoM.

 

2)      For born-digital objects, the records are arranged before submitting the SIP to Archivematica, and parent directories are created on AtoM for the objects in the SIP. A dc file containing the descriptive metadata is included in the SIP. The DIP is passed to AtoM using the Upload DIP microservice in Archivematica, and the descriptions in AtoM are created from the dc metadata.
