Do some post processing directly from generated samrai files in IBAMR?

Hello all,

When we run an example in IBAMR, we will generate the .samrai files in viz_INS2d/viz_INS3d directories.  Are there some post-processing codes in IBAMR that I can learn/cheat to get the point-wise field (e.g., velocity and density value at specific grid cells) from these files, especially when AMR is involved?

@Ramakrishnan: Can you send a code snippet for extracting data along a line that we have been using for our purposes to IBAMR users? 

(David et al may have some other tricks for this purpose as well.)
