Contants in Derived Parameters

I'm trying to reference constants for the Test/Constants sheet in some derived parameters but the constants are not being seen.  Is there a way to do this or do I just need to make a derived parameter with a constant value?

Scott,

GetConstant("ConstantName") - Returns the constant for the corresponding name from the Constants Table in the Configuration Tool

GetMissionAttribute("AttributeName") – Returns the mission attribute for the corresponding name from the mission attributes table.
In IADS 8.x a new feature has been added called:
GetUserInput("OutputName") - Returns the value of the input object (calls the OutputName property) Where this is a new Property found directly in a number of IADS ActiveX controls.

In each case you can use the above derived function in an equation or create a unique derived parameter that contains only the function. This often makes it a little easier to manage if multiple instances of the derived parameter are referenced in various locations in the config. Also you can make this derived parameter an IAP so that a data file is recorded. This is only necessary when changes in value are conditional and would otherwise be lost in playback. For example user inputs or even a result like integration that needs to be maintained throughout a test.
