A busy day near Lake Red Rock.  My first Eastern Phoebe of the year.  Back in the day, I associated the first phoebe of the year with my wedding anniversary - in the last couple of days of March.  How things have changed.  If I live to be 150, they may spend the winter here.
Also had big groups of Common Grackles flying over,  Brown-headed Cowbirds in the ag fields, and more Snow and Greater White-fronted Geese than I typically see near my house on the south side of Red Rock.  Fun day, Russ Benedict, Pella/Knoxville.
