A quick trip around Clear Lake, in the rain,  found a Surf Scoter  at the northwest end by the curve, just past Venetian Village, and two Common Terns with two Forster’s Terns roosting on the docks at Musky Lounge.  Lots of Coots are around now.  Water everywhere.

An Ibis species was at the sheep pasture at Colo Ponds this afternoon at 3:40. Because of rain and gloom, a positive ID could not be made. The sheep pasture at Colo Ponds is located 2 1/2 miles east of Colo in Story County. It is located on the north side of E-41 (Lincoln Highway, old 30).
