Muscatine/Louisa/Johnson Co. Birds

I visited several spots in Muscatine, Louisa, and Johnson counties today.
There was good waterfowl diversity with 21 species.

Weise Slough, Muscatine County
Greater White-fronted Goose 2500
Snow Goose 2500
Ross's Goose 3
Trumpeter Swan 7
Sandhill Crane 3
Northern Shrike 1
Winter Wren 1
Rusty Blackbird 1
Nine duck species with Mallards and Gadwalls most numerous.

Cone Marsh, Louisa County
Greater White-fronted Goose 3000
Snow Goose 400
Ross's Goose 7
Trumpeter Swan 29
American White Pelican 35
Northern Harrier 1
Sandhill Crane 9
Twelve duck species with Mallards, Green-winged Teal, Gadwall, Ring-necked
Duck, Northern Pintail, and Lesser Scaup most numerous, and FOY Ruddy Ducks.
