Newly rebuilt eagle nest(Chickasaw County)

Shortly after fledge last season, the eagle nest on 100th ST(Chickasaw/Howard County line) just east of HWY63 blew down in the big windstorm we had. Drove past there this evening and saw that they've rebuilt a few hundred yards to the west of the original nest-what I found interesting was this nest is actually closer to the farmhouse than the previous one.

I have spoken with the landowners about this nest, and they said the eagles have been there at least 12 years(the wife said they'd been married 10 years at the time and the nest was well established when they got married). The nest is very visible from the road, southwest of the house at about a 45% angle. I was thrilled to see they'd rebuilt-this is the first pair I started watching.
