Hi all!

I am an aspiring new member and attended my orientation last Friday.
I am extremely eager to start some projects and have some discussions with the community!

However, I have not seen any activity since I submitted my new member application and am wondering if I need to do anything else to get myself started at i3.
Should I visit again on Friday?  Or just come by any time there are members present and get myself started with introducing myself to some members and asking for trainings?

I am looking forward to more formally introducing myself when I am accepted!

there are three stages
under new member orientation phase one has a link that has to be completed and submitted
once that is processed it may take several days
you will get email regarding logins and an invitation to the next stage
phase two will send you emails granting access where you will update your crm record and emergency info
you have to complete the phase two link
phase three you will be invited to join and attend a membership meeting which includes dues payment, a close down tour
and getting you a key
there is a slide show link you can view

Definitely stop by and talk to people anytime you like and introduce yourself around.  When you are signed in as a guest, you can use the space as well, but whomever signs you in just has to be there.  You can even do things like laser training before you are a member, so don't let that hold you up.  The only limitation is that there has to be an existing member to let you in and sign you in as their guest.  Tuesday and Friday nights are when you're most likely to find people at the space who might sign you in.

The "memberification" process is all volunteer, and the speed with which submissions are processed is sometimes limited by the availability of the members who do those things.
