to hugin and other free panoramic software

First time that I run into this particular issue : enblend color transformation fails (which I think is the maijn issue), followed by a file access error, which is probably a side effect.

Main difference : 16bit gray scale images instead of 24bit RGB

Any suggestions most welcome.

Which version of enblend? Which platform? Are the images available?

There have been some changes in the handling of grey scale images in
the latest version of enblend. See
http://hg.code.sf.net/p/enblend/code/file/6aec0cc8d22a/NEWS for more
details.
