Pano_modify and Hugin 2014 : unrecognized option

Hi,

I'm refining my script processing, and I want to replace a 'ptoset' call  (from Bruno Postle's Panotools scripts ) by a 'pano_modify' one; my goal is to set JPG type and compression after pto creation.

I've seen  that pano-modify manpage (http://wiki.panotools.org/Pano_modify ) offer --ldr-file and --ldr-compression options since 31 May 2014. But it doesn't seem to be present in hugin 2014 :


pano_modify: unrecognized option '--outpu-type=N'
pano_modify: unrecognized option '--ldr-file=JPG'
pano_modify: unrecognized option '--ldr-compression=92'

Is that normal or have I done a mistake ? How can I make it with another tool?

pano_modify: unrecognized option '--ldr-file=JPG'
pano_modify: unrecognized option '--ldr-compression=92'

These switches were implemented in 2014. But they did not make it way into the 2014.0 release.
For these switches you need Hugin 2015.0 or later.

Ok, thanks Thomas, I was confused by the date displayed on the man page , since it seems to have been refreshed later than hugin 2014.0

 
Do you know another (simple) way to make it without ptoset or pano_modify?

The release cycle of Hugin 2014.0 started at 31.12.2013. So this feature was added after this point.

No. If was missing in Hugin command line tools. (I don't see the point of implemented doubled features in Hugin.)
What's the problem with upgrading to 2015.0? We started already the release cycle for 2016.0.
