Hi Community,
This is my first post/question, I hope I am not repeating some already-documented question. The thing is that I couldn't find a solution after several hours of trying and failing, so I share the situation with you specialists.
I have an Insta 360 Pro, which is a 6-fish eye lens camera
I took panoramas in a real estate property, about 17. With the propietary software (Insta 360 Stitcher) I get good results for at least 14-15 of them but there are a few that stitch horribly.
So I came to Hugin (I already use the software frequently for leveling Ricoh Theta stitched panos with incorrect horizon which it does perfectly well!)
I set up the following parameters:
Lens Type: Circular Fish Eye
Multiplier: 5,893
I reviewed the crop masks, seem OK
Then I created control points using Hugin CPFind (Creates 130 control points, which seem OK too, at first glance)
Finally.. I Run Stitcher with no success (look at the window) (Attached)
Then.. I run geometric optimization, with MUCH better results but still too poor for production use (Attached)
I've tried adding myself control points in every corner of the squares of the window, removing control points, etc, but nothing seems to work!
I am also attaching an alternative picture taken with Ricoh Theta which was what I finally used.
I would REALLY, STRONGLY appreciate if you guys can help me to solve this! I have a beautiful camera which now I am afraid to use because of these cases
Thank you in advance
