Hello,
I am using Hugin to create nice rectilinear panoramas.
I would like to go one step further by creating a virtual visit file from the jpeg or tif file, but I am not able to find any tool for Linux.
I have found panini panorama tools, but it seems not to be active anymore, and does not compile on 2 different computers I own (one with gentoo and the other with debian).

Could anybody suggest some software ?

Thank you.

Today I am using krpano, which is commercial, but has a very honest license. You pay once and can use and update it forever. Before that I've used Salado Player, with Salado Converter to prepare the image tiles. This is a flash plugin. To enable HTML5 I've used VR5. Both are free software and Salado is opensource (don't know about VR5).

If you have difficulties to download Salado tell me. I've had difficulties in the past.

Bests,
