Hi

New here and to this software, could anyone help me with how to make hugin recognize an object from image 1 in image 2.

Example: Image 1 is a small extract image originally taken from image 2. Image 1 has been increased in size and the resolution is now poor. Would like hugin to locate the place in image 2 where image 1 was originally extracted from.

Thanks for any help or advise.

Hello,

You are probably looking for an image processing library.
You could take a look at OpenCV scale invariant features.

Do you have an example pair of images? Probably hugin can do that, it is just a case of guarantee that the images are configured with different lens. If they have good candidates for control points hugin probably can do that with the automatic workflow. Have you tried?

Cheers,
