Hi,

I installed Hugin for Windows (2015.0.0) and I tried to select the lens I used for shooting the photos.

Hugin offers to either import a lens (parameters file) from an INI file or select a lens from the lens database.
The lens database is empty - and I am not able to find instructions or documentation how to import lenses into it.
Also as Hugin requires an INI file for import, I cannot use the XML files shipped with lensfun, there is also no documentation how the fields could map.

How can I use lens parameters from lensfun in Hugin?

Thank you and
with best regards

Hello strarsis,
One thing that you might try (no guarantee, I don't think I've tested it)
to recover Lensfun parameters is to load a project file (.pto) from the
earlier version in which you used lensfun lens parameters, then in Photos
tab, right mouse select an image and choose 'Lens > Save Lens parameters
to Lens database'.
Another, more time consuming, approach is to shoot suitable test images
and use Hugin Calibrate lens to generate the necessary necessary lens data
for Hugin-2015.0.0.

Cheers,
