Hi, I have compiled with msys2/mingw64 both 2015 release and latest hg checkout of Hugin on my Windows 10 x64 with some manual fixes here and there.

When I try to align images or manually put control points I have often popups of the form -> Panorama tools, "Could not create Window".

I used WxWidgets 3.0.2 compiled with the same compiler (gcc (Rev4, Built by MSYS2 project) 5.2.0).

Any ideas?

Do you need any further info?

As you may have noticed, there currently is a lack of windows packagers
for hugin 2015.0. Therefore, I would really appreciate if you could
A. document your build somewhere on the internet so other
interested parties can reproduce your build
B. offer your port as an official windows binary to the public. Please
be aware that this will result in support effort for you. But the
list normally is very good in answering basic, non implementation
specific questions, so you will have to handle the windows specific
issues for your port only. And if you document your build in a manner
that others can follow, you may get help even there.

Do you have additional information? A backtrace, for example? How can we
reproduce this?

With kind regards

Stefan Peter

I can only document it with text + screenshots in the form of a guide. Is there still demand for this?

Due to limited time and mainly experience I would not be able to maintain a binary.

I finally could resolve the issue by recompiling libpano as CLI (ie NON GUI).

This is fine, we can try to put the material on the panotools wiki at a
later time.

Maybe other windows users may be able to help then.
