When I get a pano that has really bad lighting I generally give exposure
fussed from any arrangement a try. Most of the time the whole pano other
than the windows will turn out nicely. The windows have yet to ever turn
out correctly. They look like there is a translucent white mask over them
that is obscuring the view outside. Below is an example, the first shows
the remapped image for one of the exposures. The next one shows the
finished result. Yes, you can see out the windows, but there is a lot that
is lost.  Is this normal for enfuse?

To make those I used the default settings in hugin 2012 and get the same
results in hugin 2014.

I have tried using the default versions of enblend and enfuse that came
with 2013 version of hugin as well as the newest versions of both.

I am on windows 7

I have tried include masks on the dark version and it makes no difference.

I have run out of ideas and would greatly appreciate any thoughts or
suggestions.

Thanks,
Brandon

I've also tried adjusting individual frames when converting from RAW
format; can also adjust whitepoint, color balance, etc. Export the
adjusted images as 16-bit TIFF and use those in Hugin. Sometimes that
fixes lighting discrepancies.

Another possibility is to export a set of frames from the single source
RAW image by adjusting the exposure so one is optimized for the darks,
others for mids, other(s) for highs. Then use those in Hugin.

Finally, it could just be that the bright pixels in the image are just
completely blown (my Minolta tends to do that).

Anything helpful in the above?

Check out option `--exposure-cutoff' in Section
3.6, "Expert Options" of the Enfuse user manual.  For more
details on weighting pixels consult Chapter 5, "Weighting
Functions".

(I'm referring to the documentation of the development version of
Enfuse).
