Hi!
Since a few weeks ago, I've lost the possibility to use the OpenGL preview in Hugin, the button is greyed out. I don't know if I changed anything WRT OpenGL libraries, but I get this problem both in the Hugin binaries provided by my Linux distro (Manjaro) and the AppImage (which is supposed to ship its own working GL libraries).
Any idea why? How can diagnose if I'm missing a required library?
The OpenGL preview is quite convenient for better interactive control and I’d like to use it again.

Hi Sebastien, can you run the glxgears program? Also, the glxinfo tool will output a report on your opengl setup.

Here's the full glxinfo output (sorry I'm new to Google groups).

Hi Bruno,

glxgears runs fine (~60 FPS).

I'm no expert, but this looks fine.

I suggest deleting/renaming your ~/.hugin file to reset your preferences.

I had read the FAQ already (I had checked my GL libraries, I don't use compiz), but I didn't know the GL preview was related to the "Simple user interface". So I started Hugin while keeping Ctr pressed, then a popup message asked me if I wanted to deactivate the simple interface. Actually I clicked on "No", and Hugin opened whit the OpenGL preview enabled. Kinda strange, but now it's okay.
Thanks.

That's a bit drastic. You can also just rename it:

bash$ mv ~/.hugin ~/.hugout

That way you replace it if that wasn't the issue. If it does work,
you can run diff against the two to see what has changed, and maybe
pinpoint what caused the problem.
