I am working from the command line with a wide angle lens that does not communicate with the camera. I need to be able to load the camera data into my PTO file. I rather do it from a file than the lens fun database. I already have such a file and I know how to use it if I used the GUI. How do I load it into a pto file from the command line?

With  pto_gen I see how to try and load it from the database. I often work off line though and that will likely not work then. This also only allows me to set FOV, but there are some other things that need to be set for the align to not get confused.

Thanks,

Brandon

This is not supported.

Why? The lens database is local. Hugin is never using the net connection. So this works also off line.

pto_gen can also set the fov. Alternatively you can use pto_var to set all other aspects and value of image variables.

Thank you, that sounds like it should solve my problem. :) I did not realize the database was local, so I have never used it. I will play with that and see if I can get it to work for me.
