to 'dkloi' via hugin and other free panoramic software
Been a while since I used Hugin.
I captured a full 360 panorama that includes the night sky. 6 directions
around plus up and down.
I shot multiple image in each direction of the same exposure to be
stacked to eliminate noise by using a medium stack.
I want to stack both the images as is. and after aligning then so the
stars are lined up.
I added an exclusion mask to all the images but the control points are
not added from the stars but the ground instead underneath the exclusion
mask. Is the mask suppose to exclude where control points are placed?
