Jim Tomney won high ALPO award

At 2025's Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers's annual conference, just concluded, our first VP, Jim Tomney was awarded ALPO's Peggy Haas Service Award by the ALPO Executive Director. He was recognized for outstanding service to the organization, namely supervising and innovating ALPO's web presence so that it functioned flawlessly during the past year. Let's congratulate Jim for this contribution to an important amateur astronomy organization!

Wow! Congratulations, Jim!
It's amazing how you have done so much for ALPO and at the same time giving so much to HAL -- while still holding a job and somehow finding time for your own planetary observations.
