You should not be accessing anything on a shared folder simultaneously, particularly a database, which can easily become corrupted.  A better solution which still uses Horos but allows simultaneous access from multiple users is to have Horos open on a logged in account on a machine which is always on, and then shared using the built in Bonjour sharing.  Any number of users can access the database then, from different machines or from the same machine if using fast user switching but leaving the hosted Horos account open in the background.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
We are a number of people working on the same database. We are all working
on the same Mac accessing a shared folder. (So we each work directly on the
database using "Open Database", not via DICOM or bonjour access.
I wanted to see if anyone could confirm our assumption that we should not
access the database from more than one user account at once? In other
words, multi-user access to the HorosDB folder is not supported, correct?
Any other perspective on this use case is appreciated!
Thanks!
Soren

Very helpful thank you!
I stopped looking at Bonjour long ago because of institutional firewall issues - but in our current environment it should work well - thanks again!
