Hi Katie,

You can add or remove columns by right clicking on the column header bar. Having said that I can’t see history as an option on either of the Horos instances I am running. I hope someone more experienced can help you.

Subject: History is missing - Please help!!!

My history column on Horos randomly disappeared yesterday. I don't know if I accident hit a keybind or what but I've looked all over and I can't figure out how to get it back. Do I need to delete some sort of folder on my Mac? Is there a setting/button? Please help :( !!

Hi Katie,

You can  try the following.

1. Go to file menu and click on Show database window. If not working go to next step.

2. Go to file menu and click on rebuild SQL index file.   If not working go to next step.

3. Go to file menu and click on rebuild etire database.  You can select the database folder if asked. The folder will be in Documents/ Horos data.

I stopped using HOROS and OSIRIX much anymore, but I played around with HOROS a little, see screenshot.  For one of our systems the patient history is in the:

AdditionalPatientHistory DICOM tag:  0010,21b0

If I map that to Comments somehow (See HOROS Preferences -> Database,  it shows up in the Studies list:

Maybe there is a way to rename the Comments Column to History or to the DICOM group and Element ?
