This does not seem like it should be related to Honeyview, but it is somehow.
After a while, many pictures on my computer do not fully load thumbnails. Once this happens, the picture seldom fixes itself. Some percentage of the picture will load, starting from the top. Then the rest of it will be black.
Clearing windows thumbnail cache does not resolve it, indeed, it's just worse.
Resmon shows that MsMpEng.exe goes crazy scanning the files in the folder while the thumbnails are being generated.
Once I uninstall Honeyview, I can see the folder instantly refresh and the picture previews all come back quickly and perfectly.
I disabled all explorer integration I could find in Honeyview configuration. Is there any way to make it leave thumbnails alone entirely and just allow windows to handle it?
The problem has occurred on and off again for quite some time. Most recently everything was fine until I got the notification of a patch and downloaded it through the program.
