A monthly NHSDC forum to discuss the HMIS API development and other human services integration topics!

NHSDC is starting an official Technical Committee that will meet monthly.  

The purpose of the group is to identify, work toward, and produce recommendations to the NHSDC Board best practices for human services interoperability.

The first meeting will be in person at the Miami NHSDC Fall Conference, and community representatives, vendors, and concerned citizens are invited to attend (no enrollment necessary, just show up). 

The location/time will be:

Friday, October 23, 2015 8-9AM edt,
Concerto Ballroom D, 
Hilton Miami Downtown
1601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, Florida 33132

Topics are open, but the agenda will include:

-quick introductions and purpose of the group [no advertising :) ]

-proposals for focus for areas of human services technical specifications recommendation, and any existing freely available work

-next meeting time (virtual)

This is excellent Eric.  Something people might consider reviewing before the meeting is the White House's Digital Government Strategy as well as HUD's Digital Strategy as I believe both are in line with the intended objectives of this group.  Looking forward to the conversation.
