Installing HiC-Pro

Hello everyone,

I am getting this error message in 'make install' command:

It did not worked. Can you help me with this issue.

Hi,
There is an error in the installation of the iced python library.
Could you go into script/src/ice_mod and run
python setup.py install --user ?

I think that we have some cases, where the --user option was not recognize ...
You can also try without --user ...

I actually tried the same thing. With --user flag I'm getting the same error as I mentioned above. When I discard the --user it gives no error. But If I run make install afterwards, I get the same error.

Actually, for now I would recommand to edit the Makefile and remove the --user (line 56)
I can also remove it from the installation process. To be honnest, I do not know what would be the best practice ...
I have to think about that.
