Hi,

Our code contains lots of dependencies on third-party libraries.
We would like to pack them into one Docker image to make the code self-contained.
Is it preferable for you to send you a Dockerfile (small in size but requires tens of minutes to build) or a Docker image (several GBs)?

Thanks,
chenchc

Hi Chenchc

I'm not experienced in building or working with Docker files. In theory it seems to be a better choice since it  saves us time - and possible errors - in the upload and download and also storage space.
As I said somewhere at the forum, I'll run your codes on a CentOS without root privilegies (or possibly in a win 10), so please make sure that you send me something that I can use.
Please describe in detail in the readme file all the information on how to build (without root privilegies) and run your code.
All the best
Eduardo

Great for you using CentOS!
So that I can write a script to include all the steps, from Docker image building to run inference.
It should be simple to run my program.

Still unsure if we'll be able to submit anything, :) but for sure Docker would be great, it's our base platform for these workloads.
Would be perfect fit. Just adding most probably with support from nvidia-docker to enable gpu usage (prob needed).
Eduardo, in case you need any help or tips with this feel free to reach.
best everyone!
Rui
