New HL2 user - problem with TX meter calibration

Hi,

I'm using Thetis V2.9.0.8 and I think I have it configured correctly for the HL2+.

I'm getting about 5W output (CW) measured on an in-line power meter but the TX RF power meter in Thetis indicates about 68 watts and has a full scale of 100W. How do I recalibrate the meter so it reads 5W?

Hi Ian,

Are you using the HL2 dedicated Thetis version ?

Try the stable version here before upgrading to 2.9.0.8

What value gives Spark SDR ?

Get your SDR program to use the correct „constants“. This has been
solved in this thread two weeks ago, dig into the archive.

This theme seems to come up over and over recently. People using the incorrect version of Thetis. I wonder if it needs making much clearer int he Wiki that the HL2 customized version is to be used with the HL2? Seems to be causing a lot of issues and confusion?

Yes, way too often. The wiki did link to the HL2 specific version but I just now put the link in there again in a different way hoping that will help reduce these issues. I have never installed Thetis before and just installed the stable release, blew away everything in appdata, installed the beta release, both functioned without issue by following the wiki instructions. I did make a couple of small changes to those instructions and a lot of the images there are somewhat out of date so I saved new ones with the same file names and created one more to add which I think might be helpful. While I can edit the wiki, I don't seem to be able to replace the images, so I need Steve or someone who can to drop these images into the directory there. I hope this can alleviate some of the threads we've been seeing a lot of.

Thanks for updating the Wiki. I have pushed your new pictures and made a slight adjustment to point the downloads at the releases section, rather than the latest.
