I'm going to haul my laptop up the hill today to play with HL2 as a QRP rig.  Frankly, I have no idea what I'm doing, but it should be fun.

I'll take my 4-pound laptop this time, since I have it working with HL2 using Quisk.  However, my Android phone talks to the HL2 over a USB to Ethernet adapter, but I don't know what settings to use, and if I hit Tune or PTT, it says "Cannot transmit: no Penelop or Pennylane".

Does anyone here use their HL2 with Android?

Thanks,

If you directly connect an ethernet cable from your mobile phone to the HL2, you may need to configure the HL2's self-assigned IP address of 169.254.19.221 in your software for it to connect.  That's what I need to do to operate my HL2 directly from my iPhone 12 via a Lightning to ethernet adapter.
