Hi Matthew,
I tried your code on a Pi4 running dual monitors. PiHPSDR runs
fine here but thought that LinHPSDR would use the screen space
better and give me multiple receivers.
Anyway, Raspbian does not package libsoundio. So I went to github
and pulled down the latest bits and built it. Got it to work
except the audio is very choppy. Almost unintelligible. Any
thoughts on what to try?
I am using a XFi Surround 5.1 for the sound card interface.
A Pi4 with dual monitors is remarkably powerful. I am thinking of
buying a 120GB SSD to add to it to give it a bit more boost.

Matthew,
What sound settings do you suggest?

Finally got this to work. Cockpit error. On the RX tab you have
to select the physical audio device and select local audio. The
pulldown box is blank, so it was not obvious to select that first
then local audio. On Pihpsdr it shows them as bullet buttons (or
what ever they are called). All working now.
The choppy audio was on ubuntu 19.10. I like Raspbian better so
will stay here.
