Amplifier - Voice Cut

Hi everyone, I've noticed something strange when I turn on my little amplifier, an HLA 150 from RM Italy: when I transmit, the last words of my voice are cut off. It seems like I have a noise gate activated that cuts off my voice immediately, but I don't have a noise gate. Could it be an ALC problem? I've noticed that to avoid this problem, I have to significantly raise the ALC setting on Tethis or significantly raise the Mic Gain, but doing so significantly increases the audio level. Do you have any suggestions?

How are you activating the PTT on the amp? I also have an HLA 150. I activate the PTT using the PTT line, I don't use the RF sensing PTT functionality. I switched because, even with the SSB mode turned on, it still wasn't activating consistently, and was cutting off the beginning or end of my transmissions.

What is the latency on your system from microphone input to modulated RF signal? Listen with a separate analog receiver to check the delay.
