Here is the second beta release of v2.10.3.8 of Thetis for HL2.

WARNING - This release requires a rebuild of the database if you are upgrading
from 2.10.3.6.

- Fixed Mic control issue
- Increased receiver Attenuate to full range, 32dB max attenuation

This release contains the database manager. If you have other Anan radios, this release will work with them, but you must define separate databases and select the correct database with the -dbid: option. This release creates the shortcut with -dbid:HL2. As the official release of Thetis for the Anan series of radios is not HL2 aware, there may be issues if you try to use the official Thetis with a database that is HL2 aware. Please back up your databases.

No warranty or guarantee, use at your own risk. Do a backup of your current Thetis database just in case.

Cheers

Good morning Steve and Jim,

I have been having and reporting a issue with Setup / Audio / VAC 1&2 / Gain (db) TX for many months in bug reports describing the bug as not being saved.  This I now believe is not the case.  Rater the problem is that it is not being restored properly.

I am currently using and testing the Second beta release of Thetis v2.10.3.8 and continue to have to manually set the TX gain every time I boot Thetis.

With this release I have tested and thoroughly confirmed this setting is being saved in the Data Base and TX Profile.  I have explored these data files and see the saved settings.  The problem seems to be with restoring these saved settings.  Can you test this and if I am correct fix this problem in your next Beta Release.

Sincerely,
Dalton - W5EIM

"continue to have to manually set the TX gain every time I boot Thetis"

No issues with that here:

start with a fresh database or a rebuild of the database-?

what was your previous version? was it 2.10.3.6? perhaps

My problem is slightly different, I have to set the TX levels in the PA Settings on every boot. I didn't have this problem when running 2.10.3.7, it was when I upgraded to 2.10.3.8 that this started. The fix is probably going to be rebuilding the data base?

I have the same problem with the TX level in the PA Settings. I thought I had made a mistake in some other setting.

If I start Thetis and transmit with the "TUN" button I get about 2 watts out on all bands. Output goes to full power after hitting Apply in the PA Settings tab....must be done every time Thetis is started.

Tried creating a new database....doesn't solve the issue. Still have to hit apply in the PA settings tab to hit full power out.
