Dear all,
according to your feedback I have updated the Teensy WinKey emulator
with low-latency audio that can be found on
https://github.com/dl1ycf/TeensyWinkeyEmulator
I have done the following corrections/additions
- corrected some upcase/locase mismatch (sorry, MacOS filesystem here)
(thanks to Roger reporting this)
- moved user-definable settings to new files config.h (options and features)
and pins.h (hardware I/O lines)
- added EEPROM support: standalone settings can be „burned“ into the
keyer with standard Winkey programs. These settings become effective
upon powering up the keyer and on each „host close“ command.
- made it work with N1MM (thanks to PF2D reporting this).
Here I have a question to the list:
N1MM is extensively using the Winkey „Pointer“ commands to enable
editing call signs while they are already transmitted. These pointer
commands are not defined in the Winkey manual instead it refers
to a separate „Application Note“ that I cannot locate. If anybody
has this AN, could you send it to me?
I have „sniffed“ the traffic between N1MM and an original Winkeyer
and got a feeling how these pointer commands should work, but having
a document on this would be better.
Now it is reported that my "stripped-down Winky emulator" works with N1MM.
Yours,
Christoph DL1YCF.
