The MAC showing in Thetis is corrupted. It has the same correct last 4 bytes of your HL2 placed as the first 4 with 2 random bytes at the end. You might back up your Thetis database and reset it, that is a garbage MAC address stored.

Thanks Max. I did reserve the IP for the MAC that shows on my router. The MAC that shows in Thetis is a mystery.

I don't use Thetis, but personally I always fix the IP address of the HL2 using IP Reservation in my router.
Here are instructions to do that in the Nest router. Then it will always come up with your known reserved IP. I would say that solves a lot of your issues?

I was running Thetis 2.08 and HL2 2.9.0.8 Beta 5 versions OK. I just installed Thetis 2.10.1.x64.msi and at the same time the Thetis 2.9.0.8-HL2 Beta 6. It discovers and operates my HL2 fine but setup shows the bytes incorrectly, just like reported below. Given the HL2 is confirmed to be the correct MAC (others including Thetis can operate it) I might guess the setup screen MAC displayed is a display/interpretation bug and seems to not affect anything.

Reset the database did not fix it.
Here is PiHPSDR discovering the correct IP and MAC.

SparkSDR also works fine.
I then started up Thetis 2.10 and it raised a dialog that it would merge the old database found from 2.08. It then said succeeded on app restart. It displays the same incorrect MAC address but still finds the HL2 OK. It displayed wrong before and after the DB imports and resets.
I would conclude that the problem is display UI in Thetis 2.10 and can be ignored.
Here is my Thetis HL2 Beta6 network setup section. I have 2 HL2s and have reserved DHCP address for each MAC after changing the 2nd unit MAC address. You can try static/select IP.

Looking deeper my HL2 is 00-1C-C0-A2-13-DD (and the 2nd unit I assigned to 1 higher at :DE).
SDR Console reports this correctly. Thetis has C0-A2-13-DE-49-06. The 49-06 would go to the 1st 2 bytes, but is not just out of order, the values are also wrong.

The arp mac is the same as I have on my HL2 on my network. My beta5 Thetis shows no mac listing – blank. All HL2s have the same mac address.
