Hermes lite 2 not Transmitting

i get new hl-2 for 2 days and it not transmit at all rx very good but tx nothing 

i heard a klick in the radio, TX  no power out 

i connect my amp  it activate TX no power 

i need som help i think

Welcome to the HL2 board. 

What program are you using? 

What I will write now only applies to the Thetis software:

1. Go to the setup, then go to the general tab, and go to Hermes CTRL. There copy the settings from here:

2. Go to setup/general tab/H/W Select. Hardware options: choose Apollo
3. Go to Setup/General/Andromeda sub tab Apollo. Enable both options (Enable filters and Enable Tuner)

4. Go to Setup/Display/General and be sure "Unable to render in time" is enabled. 

make sure you have a appropriate input microphone device for the audio input. 

Click on MOX and it should go into TX.

These settings/directions are not correct if you are running the HL2 modified versions of Thetis from Reid.

Hi SM6WLA,

No TX is a common problem. It is usually due to an incorrect configuration. Please search this group for "no TX"

* Make sure you are using the Thetis for HL2 if using Thetis

* Make sure the PA is enabled, check for power from both connectors on the back

* Make sure your filter configuration is correct

* Make sure you have all power output settings set to the highest, including any per band limits for external PAs

* Simplify your setup by trying to generate a TX signal with only CW or a two tone test from software

* Try other software:

Just want to update you guys in regard to HL2 Beta 3 for Hermes Lite

There is incorrect LPF switching happening on that version as confirmed by a couple of us.

Reid is aware of this and will fix it in another update or release.  

I have copied that response from another thread here since you were talking about the HL2 version used for Thetis.

I know what's going on. I made a small change to select the LPF on Rx based on the highest frequency of VFOA or VFOB. What I missed was to check that Rx2 was on. If you switch Rx2 on and set VFOB to 160M, then switch Rx2 off, everything should be good.

I fix this issue in the next release.
