Hi, I've just converted a Windows 10 Enterprise system to Windows 11 Enterprise and now Thetis-HL2 won't run. The current version crashes on start with "Thetis has stopped working" before the command window or anything else. I've deleted the wisdom file and it never made a database. Several delete and reinstalls later, I tried installing the .12 version and get the same error. Both versions worked on this machine under Windows 10. The Visual and Net packages were installed with the OS. The event viewer says the crash was faulted by ntdll.dll. The OS is 25H2. SDR-Console works correctly with my HL2, which is a build 9 from about 6 years ago. The transceiver net cable is plugged directly into the computer, which is a Supermicro I7 based machine I've used for over 12 years. Other software, such as WSJT and JS8Call, works as intended.
I'm lost, please help.

I run Win11 Pro.
Just a few days ago while testing code for a DIY MIDI controller, events went crazy and corrupted my Thetis-HL2 install.
Many attempts at installing HL2 and non-HL2 versions, old versions, deleting folders in many places such as AppData….. Would never get past the 6sec mark, which is the bar graph just starting to move to the right at startup.
I finally got it going again. Exactly what I did to fix it is not known, the final fix possibly obscured by not rebooting after each change. Besides deleting the folders I searched for Thetis with registry editor and deleted a load of registry keys.
Reinstalling it still would not startup. A short time later I rebooted and then it worked.
Maybe this can work for you.
